The centre provides a wide range of facilities and activities including swimming, gym, exercise and wellbeing classes, indoor cycling, toning suite, 3G pitch, sport hall and swimming lessons. ✔️ 1-month cash membership
✔️ Monthly Direct Debit membership for even better value

Please note that some restrictions apply for members under 16, particularly around weight-bearing activities.

⚠️ Student Memberships cannot currently be purchased online. To join, please visit your local leisure centre. Members under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when signing up.

CUSTOMER UPDATE – POOL CHANGING ROOMS

Refurbishment work to the poolside changing rooms at Penkridge Leisure Centre is continuing, and good progress has been made with the existing facilities now stripped out in preparation for the next stage of the transformation.

Unfortunately, some aspects of the project have taken longer than anticipated, which means the changing rooms will remain closed beyond the original completion date. We currently expect the temporary Robe & Go arrangements to remain in place until the end of August.

The swimming pool remains open, with swimming lessons, public swimming sessions, Aqua Fit and club activities continuing as normal. Customers should continue to arrive swim-ready and follow the temporary route via the spectator gallery.

We apologise for the extended closure of the changing rooms and appreciate your continued patience and understanding. We are working closely with the contractors to keep the project moving forward as quickly as possible and look forward to welcoming customers into the improved facilities.

We will keep you informed on further developments in due course.

The Clinical Frailty Scale (CFS) is a simple tool that helps identify when people aged 65+ may need extra support with their health, wellbeing, and daily activities.
