It provided children with a brilliant opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the Industrial Revolution. 🏏🔥 District Cricket Final – What a Performance! 🔥🏏

An absolutely incredible effort from the whole team on Thursday! 💪👏 The determination, passion, and teamwork on display were nothing short of inspiring.

We fought hard right until the very last ball, narrowly missing out on 2nd place by just 3 runs 😮—a tough one to take, but so much to be proud of! ❤️

Finishing 3rd out of 5 teams in such a competitive final is a fantastic achievement 🥉 and a true reflection of the commitment and spirit this team has shown. 🌟

Every player gave it their all, and that’s what counts! Onwards and upwards from here 🚀🏏

Thank you to all Y5 pupils for their brilliant attitudes during the recent Safe and Sound trip to Penkridge Fire station. 🚒

The whole of Year 5 were excellent during the walk to and from the station. Whilst completing the activities, they gave their all, asking and answering questions that were linked to fire safety, truck and railway safety, money awareness and also identifying how and why you should be a good citizen. 🔐

All in all, an excellent opportunity for pupils to learn bery valuable knowledge about how to keep safe in the local and wider community.

🌞 Warm Weather Update – PE Kit Option 👕

With warm weather forecast for next week, we’re giving pupils the option to wear their PE kit to school each day to help keep them comfortable ☀️

✅ This includes Year 8 pupils, who have recently been coming in uniform on their PE days
✅ Pupils should wear the correct PMS PE kit
✅ All usual equipment is still expected 🎒

This is completely optional — pupils are welcome to wear their full school uniform if they prefer 👔

If they do, we’ll expect our normal high standards as usual 👍
We hope this supports everyone during the warmer conditions 😊
