Nodyn atgoffa nad yw cŵn yn cael eu caniatáu ym mharc Penmachno.

Mae cadw cŵn allan o'r parc yn helpu i sicrhau lle glân, dymunol a diogel i bawb ei fwynhau. Yn bwysicaf oll, mae'n amddiffyn plant ifanc sy'n chwarae yn y parc rhag risgiau iechyd sy'n gysylltiedig â baw cŵn, gan gynnwys toxocariasis, a all achosi problemau iechyd difrifol a dallineb.

Helpwch ni i gadw ein parc yn lân ac yn ddiogel i'r plant. Diolch am eich cefnogaeth a'ch cydweithrediad.

A reminder that dogs are not permitted inside Penmachno park.

Keeping the park dog-free helps ensure a clean, pleasant, and safe space for everyone to enjoy. Most importantly, it protects young children playing in the park from health risks associated with dog waste, including toxocariasis, which can cause serious health issues and sight loss.

Please help us keep our park clean and safe the children. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Would you like to see things fixed faster in our community? 🛠️

At our last meeting, the community council discussed the best way to deal with problems like potholes, broken signs, the grass not being cut at the park, or street lights that don't work.

Although we are always happy to help, the fastest way to get things fixed is by using Conwy County Borough Council's "Report It" system directly!

This means that the time taken to deal with the problem is much shorter, as your report goes straight to the right team at the County Council.

Yn dilyn pwysau sylweddol gan y Cyngor Cymuned, a chyda chefnogaeth hanfodol ein AS, Claire Hughes for Bangor Aberconwy, rydym wrth ein bodd yn rhannu bod gwaith wedi dechrau'n swyddogol heddiw ar y prosiect hollbwysig i ddod â ffibr a phŵer i'r mast ffôn symudol ym Mhenmachno.

Mae'r uwchraddiad mawr hwn yn hanfodol oherwydd ei fod yn paratoi'r ffordd i'r mast gefnogi pob rhwydwaith symudol (EE, VodafoneThree, O2), gan sicrhau y gall ein cymuned elwa'n llawn o gysylltedd modern - gan gynnwys smart meters, cerbydau cysylltiedig, technoleg glyfar, ac, yn bwysicaf oll, cadw ein pobl wedi'u cysylltu.

Following significant and constant pressure from the Community Council, and with the vital support of our MP, Claire Hughes, we are delighted to share that work has officially started today on the crucial project to bring fibre and power to the mobile phone mast in Penmachno.

​This major upgrade is vital because it paves the way for the mast to support every mobile network (EE, VodafoneThree, O2), ensuring that our community can fully benefit from modern connectivity - including smart meters, connected vehicles, smart technology, and, most importantly, keeping our people connected.

​A reliable signal from all networks will also provide a substantial boost to our local economy, supporting independent businesses like the village pub, which rely heavily on visitors to our wonderful villages.

​We will keep you updated as the works progress.

We know it is exceptionally hot out there and it’s incredibly tempting to head down for a dip in the River Machno to cool off, but please avoid going into the water.

​The storm overflow is currently operating at the water treatment works in Cwm Penmachno. To keep everyone safe and healthy, stay out of the river.

The community council recently had a meeting with Dŵr Cymru to hear about the plans the company has to fix the problems at Cwm Penmachno Wastewater Treatment Works. Dŵr Cymru intend to carry out works by 2027.

Thanks to the tireless dedication of your Community Council and the North Wales Ambulance Service, we have reached a major safety milestone:

97% OF HOMES AND BUSINESSES IN BRO MACHNO ARE NOW WITHIN 1 MILE OF A LIFE-SAVING DEFIBRILLATOR

As of today, a new unit is in place on Ysbytty Road, located near the junction with Groesffordd Road. This installation was made possible through the generosity of a local homeowner who kindly granted permission to host the device on her property. This kind of community spirit truly helps keep us all safer.
