Our Christmas late night shopping party will take place next Thursday afternoon - evening

The yard kitchen cafe will be serving a festive menu through till 9 pm and beers, wines and (Christmas) spirits!

The wood fired oven will be serving pizza all day from noon till 9

Christmas & antiques stalls will be in the main barn from 12 noon.

Always free entry - hope to see you here to celebrate Christmas and Cumbria' s great community spirit!

Here are some updates for our winter schedule of events:

On the winter droving weekend, regretfully we are not participating in the Drovers cup (we have both injured and absentees!) but look for us next year. We will however be carrying the boar lantern in the parade later in the evening.

The Yard Kitchen cafe will open on the 17th of November serving coffee, cakes, lunches and afternoon tea.

I will be running a Persian rug Fayre the same week of the opening with some lovely stock on show from myself and two other importers (from Iran and Afghanistan)

Penrith town centre is running its own Christmas market 11,12,13th December so our Christmas event this year will be a simpler affair:
On the 17th December we will have a late night shopping Party at the yard.
With the shopping & restaurant open till 9, antiques and Christmas stalls, wood fired pizza, bar, music..maybe even santa!

Here are the opening times for this weekends Oktoberfest:

5.00 pm to 10pm

Entry is free during the daytime (when the yard is open)
After 5pm the admission is £3

If you attend in lederhosen your first drink is free!

Official MOO bar Oktoberfest glass steins are available to purchase at £5:
If you take the glass to the MOO bar Penrith over the weekend first drink is free.

Our wood fired oven is going to be serving pizza all weekend, and our wienerkitchen will be serving the best in bratwurst!

Stallholders check in at 9am and gate opens for all at 10

Stallholders leave at 2 usually but the yard is open for all other business til 5 and some stay on.

All is ready for our Christmas Fayre tomorrow & Sunday
We can't guarantee the weather will be kind but we can promise:

It's been a very busy year for the events here at the yard,
We ran tabletop sales all through the year on Saturdays, had a couple of great Persian rug fayres, staged our first Oktoberfest beer festival in partnership with the Moo bar (which was great fun!)
Drew and T from salvage hunters came to film and had a rummage through the selection.

This weekend is the winter droving in Penrith - it's a great event for all the family, the town will be packed with fun things to do and here at the yard we are having an antiques/table top sale Saturday 10-2.

What a glorious sunny day for Easter - our tabletop sale of all things second hand, salvaged, antique and collectible finally had its first saturday of decent weather.
A great day all round - as we move closer towards the summer we will be adding more tables, pizza, wine and ales!

The oriental carpet fayre is underway and despite lashing rain - as usual inside the barns all is calm and colourful.
We have some beautiful and interesting stock in from Iran - antique, recycled and new.

If you are passing Brunswick Road you can't miss the pineapple yellow sign!
