Tarn Maintenance - Advance Warning!

Thurs 27th Aug at 9am the Tarn will be getting its annual meadow cut. This means that for a few hours it won’t be safe for walking etc. Don’t worry, it won’t take long!

Thank you to everyone who supports Plantfest and our other events that ensure maintenance like this that keeps the tarn as a community resource for all is possible!

Tarn Maintenance evening

Wed 22nd July 7pm

The tarn is maintained by a (very!) small group of volunteers for the whole community to use and every now and then we need a helping hand to make sure we can continue to walk on the tarn and enjoy the space.

This Wednesday is one of those times… anyone who has a spare hour and wants to join us for a bit of fair weather wildlife gardening is very welcome, more hands make light work!

If you have them, please bring along gloves, secateurs and a bucket or wheelbarrow. Deadheading isn’t hard or heavy work, all welcome!
