An ancient Cornish festival. A long-buried secret. A dance that could change everything.

Flo Richards returns to Helston to sell the house she inherited and leave the past behind for good. 📚 Local author looking for feedback!

Aisling Manser is inviting your help with her most ambitious project yet – a children’s book for ages 7–11. The story follows Ziggy, who is sent from his home planet to help save Earth from the “rotten fruits” of the world. Through this adventure, the book explores important global topics in a way that’s engaging and easy for children to understand.

This is a test of the market, and Aisling would love to hear what young readers think! If you have a budding young bookworm at home, please pop into Penryn Library and take a look. Your feedback would be hugely appreciated 💫
