Looking for something creative and fun for the children this summer? Come along to Crafternoon at Penryn Library!

Come along and get creative, try something new and enjoy some fun arts and crafts activities. No booking required – just turn up!

This is a family event, so guardians are asked to stay throughout. 😊

Children of all ages are invited to take part in the Cornwall Reading Challenge 2026: Extraordinary Explorers!
Get ready to discover more about the things you love, because if you LOVE it, we want you to read about it!
🎨 Explore Art
⚽ Explore Sport
🎮 Explore Gaming
📖 Explore anything that sparks your curiosity!
As you explore through reading, you'll earn fantastic rewards along the way.
There are two FREE challenges to choose from:
⭐️ The Reading Quest – perfect for children who can enjoy 6 books over the summer.
⭐️ The One and All Challenge – a fully inclusive option designed so that every child can take part and succeed, whatever their reading ability or needs.
The adventure begins on Saturday 11 July, so gather your young explorers, dust off your library card (or sign up for one at Penryn Library), and get ready for a summer packed with stories, discovery and fun.

On Android > Activate TalkBack
