The second annual Sancreed Green Re-Flowering Day, Saturday 29 August

We gather at the Green at 10am for the start of the day.

10am: Nature on the Green
11am: Scything workshop and hay baling
1pm: Seeding and planting wild flowers
4pm: Free tea and homemade cake for everyone who has helped

Please bring tools and rakes if you have them, and your own lunch or picnic. Last year's was a wonderfully productive and busy community day, enjoyed by children and seniors alike, so however much you are able to contribute, do make sure you are with us for the refreshments.

Echoes from the Pond: Lucy Willow at Sancreed Village Hall, 21 to 23 August

An exhibition of new work by the artist Lucy Willow, inspired by the ancient sites and wild moors of our area. Open daily, 11am to 4pm.

Artist Walk and Talk: Saturday 22 August, 2pm to 4pm. Free to Sancreed Parish residents, and numbers are limited, so please get in touch if you would like to take part.

The Sancreed Pig Walk, this Sunday 16 August

Gather at Sancreed Village Hall from 2.30pm, walking at 3pm. A gentle two mile procession with our pretend pig along the lanes around Sancreed Beacon.

Back at the hall: BBQ and salad bar, a licensed bar from 4pm, live music from JustUkes, and handmade Leach pig pottery, unique to Sancreed.

Fun for all the family, and dogs welcome. All welcome.
