DROWNING PREVENTION WEEK πββοΈπ
Did you know that many accidental drownings happen in everyday locations such as rivers, lakes, canals and beaches?
Drowning Prevention Week, led by the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK), aims to raise awareness of water safety and share simple advice that could save lives.
Whether you're spending time by the coast, enjoying outdoor swimming, paddleboarding, fishing or just walking near water this summer, it's important to understand the risks and know what to do if someone gets into difficulty.
We're proud to help people of all ages build confidence in the water through our swimming lesson programmes and qualified teaching teams.
Take a moment this week to learn the Water Safety Code:
βοΈ Stop and Think
βοΈ Stay Together
βοΈ Float
βοΈ Call 999
Together, we can help keep our communities safe around water.
