We warmly invite you to join us for one of two Workforce for a Sustainable Future events held in the Tay Cities Region. The regional Skills Action Plan for Tay Cities highlights the growing number of jobs that support the transition to net zero. It sets out that skills associated with these jobs need to be grown and promoted in the region in order to meet the growing demand. This is relevant across a wide range of sectors including clean energy, agritech, waste management, sustainable construction, and more.

As well as promoting the support currently available for businesses, the events are designed to encourage collaboration to address challenges and maximise opportunities. The events have been put together by the Tay Cities Skills Programme and Skills Development Scotland.

📢 Our ever-popular Construction Skills Academy is back soon!

📍 Location: 68-86 Scott Street, Perth PH2 8JW
📅 Starts: Tuesday 10 November 2026
⏰ Time: 10am-2pm (every Tuesday for 20 weeks)

The course is designed to give young people a route into construction and an insight into different roles and trades. The programme includes CITB health and safety, first aid, CSCS card training, site visits, employer talks, practical sessions at UHI, CV and application support, interview skills and work experience.
