Due to a fire at the Village Hall, the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council and the Annual Parish Meeting, scheduled for Wednesday 13th May 2026, have had to be postponed whilst the Council secures a temporary venue. Once secured, details will be posted on the Council's website and page.

**CANCELLED**
Due to a fire at the Village Hall, the Annual Residents' Meeting 2026 has had to be cancelled.
Residents are welcome to attend the Annual Parish Meeting on Wednesday 13th May, starting at 7.00pm.
However, this is meeting is dependant on a new venue being secured.

The Parish Council has been in regular contact with Anglian Water with regards to the collapsed sewer on Lincoln Road, however there has been little to report whilst investigations have been taking place.
We now have an official update from Anglian Water.

Consultation on the four options for Local Government Reorganisation in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough has been launched by the Government.

Residents and other interested parties are now being asked to consider the four options to replace the current arrangement of councils in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The consultation closes on Thursday 26 March 2026.

Police and Crime Commissioner Darryl Preston is asking the public for their views as he prepares a new budget to deliver policing across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
The Commissioner has launched an online survey asking residents how much they would be prepared to pay towards policing in 2026-2027.

The traffic lights and tankers on Lincoln Road is because a sewer has collapsed. Anglian Water will be in attendance for the foreseeable with over pumping appearing in the next few days. We do not know as yet how long repair will take or if the road will be closed. Updates as we find out.

PCC are not putting stickers on bins for Christmas collections this year so fyi the black bin will be collected in Northborough on Saturday 27th December and the green bin on Saturday 3rd. The next brown bin collection is Friday 23rd January.
