Great news, a solution has been found which will still allow the buses to pass through the centre but there may be a slight delay while equipment is moved out of the way. A big thank you to everyone involved in the works getting to together and and coming up with a solution.

Tuesday is Black bin day. Food waste caddies and garden waste bins will be collected too.
I have been informed by PCC that rounds may be be cut short on the day due to excessive heat. If this happens, please leave the bin out and it will be collected the following day.

A number of people have contacted me about the pending closure of the Bretton centre bus lane. The works are being completed by Cadant Gas. The whole lane will need to be closed due to location of the pipes. PCC have requested an alternative stop to be in place but as yet nothing has been confirmed. I have spoken to Andrew Pakes MP, who has spoken to Stagecoach requesting an alternative stop is made available. As soon as I have more information, I’ll update everyone.
