Sahara Community Care Services "Quality Care To Help You Stay Independant" Our staffs are well placed to meet the particular cultural, religious and ethnic needs of those who use the service.

The organisation was established in April 2001 to provide domiciliary care services to older people, and adults and children with disabilities. The Service Users needs are thoroughly assessed before they are assigned a Homecare Worker and a care plan and a support plan is devised. The Registered Manager will visit each prospective Service User to discuss their needs and provide additional informat

ion. Sahara strives to ensure that every Service User is cared for by staffs that share similar cultural, linguistic and religious backgrounds. Their cultural and religious needs are also taken into account for example if they only eat halal food or need to be visited by a Homecare support worker of the same gender. The staffs carry out a variety of tasks and emphasis is on making sure they are not isolated and have access to a companion to help them interact and socialise with the community which also enables the family members some respite time. As a company, we strongly believe our equal opportunity policy, rules and procedures. Sahara looks to giving a service to one and all and does not look upon its specialty that it has to serving only people from Black and Ethnic Minorities. Sahara is committed to providing high quality and appropriate support services for people of ethnic minority and the vast majority with a vision to:
