NFRA LTD provide competent assessors to evaluate your property to potential fire risks. We compile a written report with recommendations to make your premises safe and conform to current legislation.
Current legislation (The Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order RRO 2005: updated October 2023) states that all residential flats (communal areas) and business premises require a fire risk assessment. If you employ five or more people, this must be written assessment.
This includes and is not limited to:
*Schools
*Nursing and Care homes
*Offices
*Leisure facilities
*Retail outlets
*Hotels
*Factories
Landlords are also liable for communal areas, whilst individual flats fall under the tenant’s responsibility. The RRO also applies to sheltered housing and houses of multiple occupation (HMO’s).
