The opportunity is delivering 50,000 additional jobs in digital tech sector by 2050 and an additional £4.9bn GVA💙

This morning I hosted new councillors elected in May (and quite a few existing councillors) at our Combined Authority 👍

It was an opportunity to learn about the Combined Authority and the Mayor 🤝

What a brilliant event today in with so much fun dancing, singing, together with food and drink 🎵 💃 🍺 🍔

Time to put all this aside and work for the benefit of 👍

I shall work with any of the councillors regardless of Party colour for the benefit of the City 💙

After Labour lost its majority in the Cambridge City Council election last month, a rainbow coalition between Labour (17 seats), the Greens (12) and the Lib Dems (11) was discussed. Instead, a Labour minority administration is in place - and the recriminations have begun, with the Greens and Lib Dems trading blows over how power-sharing discussions collapsed.
