WE NEED YOU!!!

The Nene Valley Railway Wagon Group is run by volunteers and self funded by our freight driving courses and photo charters. We need your help to restore the running fleet of wagons and help us with fundraising by providing hospitality at our event days.

We meet every other Saturday, so on average only twice a month. Do you have some time to give to volunteering with us?

Join a friendly team who work hard and play hard. No previous experience is needed and all that you need is a willingness to learn and get involved.

So, what’s in it for you?….

• A sense of pride at restoring some living history,

• The enjoyment of being part of a team working together,

• Joining us on our event days, riding the freight train, and maybe even a chance to drive a locomotive!

On 8th & 9th August, you can take the controls of a heritage diesel locomotive during our Peak of Summer Freight Driving Experience.
