Peterborough Rape-Crisis Care Group Committed to supporting and empowering all survivors of rape and sexual abuse as well as their loved ones.

Our support extends to those in Peterborough, Huntingdonshire, Bedfordshire and Fenland. Peterborough Rape Crisis Care Group was established in 1983 in response to a need for a safe, confidential, non-judgemental support service for victims and survivors of sexual abuse. The sexual violence may have occurred recently or many years in the past and could have involved a stranger, relative or someone

known to you. All our volunteers come from a wide variety of backgrounds and all have been trained to help women survivors who have suffered any form of sexual abuse.

It’s not just about a “yes” or “no.” True consent is enthusiastic, ongoing, freely given and can be withdrawn at any time. If someone involved doesn’t seem enthusiastic, pauses, avoids eye contact, or seems unsure, that’s not consent.

Consent means everyone feels safe, comfortable, and respected.
