This page will be used to update everyone on the daily goings on, and also to let you know when we have products for sale! Our journey began in 2012 when we move into an eco home built in a 7 and a half acre plot of land. With the purchase of a dozen fertile eggs, set in an incubator and hatching 21 days later.., we were hooked on the adventure that is smallholding. Since our first batch

of chicks hatched, the number of animal residents at Dykeside have multiplied, and so have the products we are able to produce. Over the past seven years we have acquired many traditional skills that sadly are being lost and utilise them in our everyday life. Dykeside Smallholding is ever expanding and so are the opportunities that derive from this!
