First of all thank you to each and every person who has taken the time, put in so much effort and thought into entering this years Scarecrow Competition 🙏🏻. Behind the scenes it has been touch and go if it would even go ahead because of the weather, but people still pulled together and managed to (very last minute for some) get their Scarecrows up 🎉

The photos don't do them justice!! The intricate details, the added touches and even a home grown Scarecrow which has made judging this year extremely difficult. Thank you, you are all WINNERS!! 🏆

This years winners are as follows:

Congratulations to our winners and well done to everyone for taking part!! 🌟 It was so nice to see people out walking with family, children, grandparents and their dogs on the Scarecrow Trail. This really is what it's all about, getting the community together 💫 - the trail is still active, grab your family and go take a look at the amazing creations 🎉

Once again thank you to everyone. Here's to next year - let's go bigger and better and get as many people involved as possible, to get our Village full of Scarecrows 🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛

🐦‍⬛ITS TIME TO VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE 🐦‍⬛
Scarecrow Judging is underway and we need YOU to vote for YOUR favourite Scarecrow, to be crowned Winner of 'The People's Choice' Award 🏅

Thank you to each and every family who have entered this years competition 🙏🏻 your efforts this year have been commendable🌟

The Scarecrows will be up over the weekend and for the remainder of the School Holiday's, so grab your family and friends and take a walk around the Village on the Scarecrow Trail and view this years entries 🎉

WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED THIS AFTERNOON WHEN JUDGING HAS CONCLUDED 🏆

🐦‍⬛SCARECROW MAPS 🐦‍⬛

All entries are in and trail maps are now available to view this years fabulous Scarecrows. There are a couple still in progress as the weather stopped play earlier in the week however, these are still visible on the map 👏🏻

🏅Judging will be taking place this Sunday 23rd August 🏅

Take a walk around the Village over the weekend and see the amazing creations. Paper Maps are also available from Easington Village Convenience Store & Post Office

Don't forget to vote for your 'People's Choice' Scarecrow 🏆 - details of how to do so are on the trail map. Pictures will be coming soon...

Entries are still open and we have extended the entry deadline until Friday 21st August - lets get as many scarecrows up as we can around the Village.

Judging will take place on Sunday 23rd August.

Join the wonderful Spare 10 for Ben for their monthly Mix & Mingle!

Today 12:30pm - 2:30pm here at Seaton Holme.

Pop in for a cuppa, a chat, some nice food and bring your dabbers as there is always a game of bingo!! 🎉ALL WELCOME

Reminder that our Boots, Brews and Banter walking group is currently paused for the holidays!
Please join us tomorrow (Wednesday 5th August) for our monthly Midweek Mix & Mingle, 12:30 til 14:30 at Easington Village Parish Council - Seaton Holme. We will be serving up paninis and picky bits while you enjoy a chat and a few games of bingo, all completely free of charge! The side door will be open just before half past 12, we look forward to seeing you there!

🎉 THANK YOU 🎉 What a fantastic day we had at our annual Summer Fair here at Seaton Holme on Saturday🎪 Thank you to all who attended with family and friends, there was a real buzz and community spirt in the air throughout the whole afternoon. We hope everyone who attended had as much fun as we did.

Special thanks to Charlie boy sings and J.R Productions for providing a jam packed day of entertainment! We had lots of singing, dancing, Punch & Judy and a spectacular Foam Party to end the day!! 🫧

Thanks to all vendors for providing food, drink and refreshments on the day, to all our stall holders at our Crafts Fair and 1932 Blackhall Squadron RAFAC for manning the coconut shy.

And last but not least to all EVPC Staff for their hard work and efforts both on the day and behind the scenes, without you all the event would not be possible 🙏🏻

ROLL ON 2027 - Saturday 24th July 2027, get the date in your diary so we can look forward to doing it all again next year 👏

Once again, thank you to everyone involved for making the day a one to remember! 🌞
