We are encouraging residents, businesses and community groups to have their say on the future of the county as the first consultation on the new Wiltshire Local Plan begins next week.

The first consultation on the new Wiltshire Local Plan launches on 2 September and will help shape where homes, jobs and infrastructure are provided across the county in the years ahead.

This is your opportunity to tell us what matters most and how you would like to be involved as the plan develops.

📢 Calling Pewsey Volunteers! 🌿🌊

We’re looking for volunteers to help clear vegetation from the River Avon on Sunday 30 August from 10am, meeting by the central bridge next to the Tea Room.

Removing the build-up of false watercress and other fast-growing plants will help reduce the risk of flooding and keep the river clear for our Carnival and Christmas lights.

If you can spare a couple of hours, please bring wellies or waders and a fork or similar tool. Simply turn up, or let us know in advance to help with planning:

We're really looking forward to opening the chapel at Wilcot Road cemetery, this Saturday (29th August) from 10am to 2pm. Come and take a look inside our little gem of a building, it is quite something!
