🎉 RECORD-BREAKING GCSE RESULTS! 🎉

We are incredibly proud to be celebrating the best GCSE results in our school’s history! 🏆

Today is all about our fantastic students. Their hard work, determination and resilience have truly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they have achieved. A huge thank you, too, to our dedicated staff and supportive families who have encouraged them every step of the way.

A huge congratulations to all our Sixth Form students collecting their A‑Level and BTEC results today. You have worked incredibly hard and we are so proud of what you’ve achieved. 38% of all grades were A*/A or Distinction* which is simply unreal.

Supporting Our Families This Summer 💙

Due to changes in Government funding, holiday food vouchers for families eligible for Free School Meals will no longer be available this summer.

We know the school holidays can bring extra financial pressure, so we’re pleased to offer a little extra support to our school community.

🥪 Free Weekly Food Bags
Families eligible for Free School Meals can collect a free bag of food each week during the summer holidays to help make lunches for their children.

📅 Every Friday during the summer holidays (starting Friday 17th July)
🕙 10:00am – 12:00pm
📍 Marine Academy Plymouth – Secondary Reception

There is no need to book – simply come along during the collection time if this support would benefit your family. Children may collect on behalf of their family if appropriate, and we kindly ask that you bring your own bag to carry the food.

We hope this small gesture helps make the summer holidays a little easier for families who need it. 💙

🇫🇷 What a fantastic trip to Roscoff! 🇫🇷

Our students had an amazing time in France, creating wonderful memories, embracing the culture, and making the most of every opportunity. From exploring the beautiful town of Roscoff to practising their French and enjoying new experiences, it was a trip to remember.

We are incredibly proud of all our students. They were a credit to the school throughout the visit, showing enthusiasm, respect, and excellent behaviour. Thank you for making the trip such a success!

A huge thank you to all the staff who helped organise and accompany the visit. We hope everyone has returned home with lots of happy memories and stories to tell. 🇫🇷

🌟 What a fantastic Enrichment Day! 🌟

Today was a brilliant day across Marine Academy Plymouth as students took part in a huge range of enrichment activities, trying new experiences, developing new skills and making lasting memories.

It was wonderful to see so many students getting fully involved, embracing every opportunity and, most importantly, showing such kindness, respect and excellent manners to all of our visitors and activity leaders. You represented our school brilliantly and should be incredibly proud of yourselves. Thank you to all of our staff and visitors for making today such a success!

Tomorrow is our final day of the school year, and we can't wait to celebrate everything we've achieved together.
