🌈🧁 Support Gracie-Louise's Fundraising Journey! 🧁🌈
We are incredibly proud of Gracie-Louise Evans in Year 8, who is taking part in a Sponsored Rainbow Run this June to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West.
This charity holds a very special place in Gracie’s heart. Sadly, Gracie lost her cousin to sepsis in 2023 at the age of 12. During the most difficult days of his life, Children’s Hospice South West provided outstanding care, support, and compassion to the family. They have continued to support them ever since, and Gracie is determined to give something back to help other families who may need their services.
To raise even more money, Gracie will be hosting a Bake Sale on Friday 19th June 2026.
🍰 How you can help:
Please send in cakes, buns, biscuits, or other baked treats for the sale on Friday 19th June.
Bring some change to support the bake sale and enjoy a sweet treat!
If you are able to, please consider donating via Gracie’s JustGiving page and sponsor her Rainbow Run:

Every donation, no matter how small, will help Children’s Hospice South West continue their incredible work supporting children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Thank you for supporting Gracie and this wonderful cause. 💚
🌈 Every step, every cake, every donation counts! 🌈

MAP Beacon – where we aim high, lead with kindness, and never give up 🌟

We are so proud to reveal our completed lighthouse for the St Luke's Guiding Lights Plymouth project, beautifully painted by some of our talented students.

Named MAP Beacon, our design celebrates Plymouth and our local community with an underwater theme featuring sea life, the iconic Plymouth shrimp, the Red Arrows, our school logo, and a striking octopus wrapping around the lighthouse.🐙 The octopus reflects resilience, curiosity, and determination, linking closely to our school values of aiming high, showing kindness, and never giving up.

The Guiding Lights trail supports the incredible work of St Luke's Hospice Plymouth, helping raise awareness and vital funds for families facing life limiting illness across our community.

Please help us support this amazing cause by liking, commenting, and sharing this post to spread awareness. 💛

Our year 10 Catering students recently took part in the Tunnock's Teacake Challenge! 🍫🌎

Using just one teacake, students were challenged to create and present a design inspired by the theme "Around the World in a Bite."

Students explored a range of ideas including climates around the world, travel, and even planets and space, showcasing fantastic imagination, creativity, and presentation skills throughout.

Here are just a few examples of their fantastic efforts. Well done to everyone who took part. 👏 🌟

☕ SEND Coffee Morning – Skills Group Visit

We’re pleased to share that on Monday 27th April, we will be welcoming The Skills Group to our SEND Coffee Morning.

They will be joining us to talk all about apprenticeships – including the different pathways available, how to apply, and what support is in place for young people with SEND. This is a fantastic opportunity for parents and carers to ask questions and gain valuable insight into post-16 options.

🕘 Time: 9:00 – 10:40am

As always, this is a relaxed and friendly space to connect with staff and other families over a coffee ☕

We look forward to seeing you there!
