Depending on the value of your appliance, you can often extend its life substantially with a professional repair that's considerably cheaper than replacing it, as well as kinder to the environment as it won't need to go to landfill or be sent on a slow boat to China for dismantling. And if you have an old appliance that has sentimental value (perhaps your late mother's old Kenwood Chef?), we might be able to breathe new life into it for you even decades after it went out of warranty. We don't do sharp intakes of breath, we don't try to blind you with science, and we won't waste your money if something really isn't repairable.
