Today Devonport Neighbourhood team were invited to the Summer Fun Day in Pembroke Street EMB from 12 till 3pm. It was great to meet all the residents who attended. Some residents were offered crime prevention advice and given No Cold Caller door stickers, we learnt about other activities which take place in the local area, for all ages. And of course, we handed out lots if stickers and activity sheets.

Officers including DCI Roach, Patrol officer PC Hurley and local NBMs PC Kirton and PC Smith attended an incident on Hyde Park Road yesterday, where a male was found in possession of a knife.

This male has been charged for this possession, and for other matters, and will be appearing at Plymouth Magistrates Court tomorrow.

PCs Kirton and Smith have been around Hyde Park Road this morning to reassure local businesses. Knife crime is not tolerated in Devon and Cornwall, and if you know someone that is carrying a knife you can report concerns to us directly or through Crimestoppers

A huge well done to MVV Incinerator in camels head for putting on such a fantastic event.
The amount of effort, dedication and teamwork from everyone involved was incredible. It was brilliant to see so many agencies coming together to support the community and make a real difference.
It was lovely to meet so many families and chat with so many wonderful people throughout the day. We hope you all enjoyed the event as much as we did!
A massive thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success.

Officers would like to thank members of public that assisted them yesterday around midday in Austin Avenue, North Prospect, during an incident.

They went above and beyond to help officers, including patrol officer PC SPRINGBETT and local NBMs for West Plymouth, PC KIRTON and PC SMITH. It does not go unnoticed!
