Plymbridge Road Post Box FULL!
Doesn't seem the post box outside Plymbridge Stores is being emptied.

Notified to Royal Mail this morning (March 3rd)

The post box is absolutely full so I'd advise using a different one until resolved (pretty sure my missing 48h delivery letters are in there too 😅)

Posting on behalf of a local resident

Wondered if you could put a post on please, we live on Newnham Road (opposite the car park) and our neighbours son had all his tools stolen from his van sometime yesterday evening or overnight.
He was parked in the carpark.
Just wondered if anyone may have seen anything.

Please take care when driving through the village the surrounding roads as after Lulus Bakery had someone bump their car recently there was another bump at the bottom of Lucas Lane last night.

Whilst these were both relatively small incidents with no-one hurt they're still frustrating for those involved, and completely avoidable by drivers just taking more care.

The evenings are dark and damp at the moment so giving yourself a bit longer to get to your destination rather than being in a rush is far safer for everyone.

Retrospective planning has been submitted following the accidental demolition of the gatehouse at Colebrook House.

(Original planning application shown)

Houses built are apparently larger than the planning permission and the gatehouse was protected in the local plan (the local plan is drawn up by residents) There has also been removal of a Devon hedge that was not permitted

You may still share your opinion on this retrospective application I believe for a few more days.

Sewage leak at the bottom of Boringdon Hill next to the small detached cottage.

Liquid is leaking from the grassed path across the pavement and in to the drain.

Currently only liquid but please avoid walking in it!

Reported to SW Water and they should have engineers on site this morning.

The road from Plympton to Woodside has been closed today due to Emergency Tree works on Boringdon Hill. According to the council website this could continue until Friday.
It appears that the road closes just after 9 and reopened around 3-3.30.
Please leave additional time if you are visiting us. Our postcode is PL7 5ED to search for alternative routes.
