Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens. Our school is a place where we learn and where we are among lots of people also learning. Our final morning didn’t let us down with sun, archery and den-building (with a bullseye for the birthday boy!!) - what a way to finish our stay! 🤩🙌🏽🌿 The children have been incredible and just had such a fun time - we hope you get to hear all about it! And the teachers are now hibernating for 48 hours 😁 Thank you Year 6 for making a truly memorable residential! (No more worm time tonight!!) 🪱 😂

Year 5 had fun this week, whilst the year 6 children were away. They used iPads to research information about their favourite things, then created amazing information sheets. They also learned about Plymouth's Palmerston Forts and drew incredible sketches of Knowle Battery.

The children absolutely loved their trip to Dartmoor Zoo yesterday! We enjoyed learning all about the leopard and exploring the skeletons of different animals! They did not let the rain stop them and were an absolute credit to Knowle! For their homework this week please see your Dojo messages!

More fun and laughter tonight! We had the BIG Knowle Games Night with lots of winners, and then some free time outside and a nighttime game of Sardines. And then, no phones or screens, just hanging out with mates and chatting and playing together - the best fun and lots of laughing!! An amazing last night here and brilliant memories had. We are so proud of them all for pushing themselves to try new things, just enjoying every moment, and it makes it so worthwhile. See you all tomorrow!! 😊🌿🙌🏽

Part 1: Key Stage One had THE BEST day at Dartmoor Zoological Park today. We didn’t let the rain get in our way. We saw so many incredible animals and were lucky enough to see the tiger up close. We learnt about the climate in the continent of Africa and the habitats of many animals found there which links to this terms geography and science. We were able to have lots of fun in the park too. What a fabulous day!
