Massive congratulations to WO2 Earl on being awarded the RLC Corps High Gun at the REME/RLC Clay Shooting Competition on Wednesday. WO2 Earl finished with a score of 84/100!

Also, a well done is in order for Pte McMullin, Sgt Evely and 2Lt Gamble for their participation in the competition. 2Lt Gamble finish five points away from being the RLC B Class High Gun, which was a great achievement having entered as a novice.

Congratulations to Cpl Hopkins who was presented his Volunteer Reserve Service Medal (VRSM) whilst on Ex WYVERN TOR - the support provided to the Ten Tors Challenge event. Cpl Hopkins was presented his VRSM by Brig Brown, Commander 104 Theatre Sustainment Brigade.

The VRSM is awarded for 10 years service in the Army Reserve.

On this day last week the Regt silently supported the agencies who managed and dealt with the WW2 German SC250 UXO (250kg bomb) found in Southway, Plymouth.

At very short notice the team at Derriford Army Reserve
Centre provided the facilities for the Police Bronze HQ, including multi-agency response teams to operate and provide the cordon to the incident.

Well done to everyone who assisted our Police and emergency response partners.

Team165, are back supporting the Ten Tors event being held at Okehampton Camp and on Dartmoor National Park this weekend. We have established the event car parking facilities and Traffic Control Management HQ to support the delivery of the event.
