Are you aged 18-30? Have you experienced relationship difficulties when you were younger - whether you've been harmed, caused harm, or both?

Ahimsa is building a Lived Experience Advisory Group to shape our Youth Service - the work we do with young people aged 16-25 on healthy relationships.

This isn't about sharing your story. You're coming to tell us what works, what doesn't, and when our ideas miss the mark - so the service makes sense to young people and reaches them at the right time.

What matters is that you've done the work on yourself, you're not in that space now, and you want other young people to get help navigating this earlier.

Meetings every 4-6 weeks.
Vouchers for your time.
Skills and recognition you can use elsewhere.

We want this group to reflect Plymouth's diversity - different genders, backgrounds, experiences, and pathways.

Thank You for Joining Our Third-Party Reporting Hate Crime Networking Event

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended our Third-Party Reporting Hate Crime Networking Event. This was the second meeting that we had, so we are still in early stages of building this network.
It was truly inspiring to bring together so many dedicated organisations committed to supporting our communities.
This meeting built on the important conversations we started last year—conversations rooted in the belief that organisations should not work in isolation, but instead support one another and grow a strong, connected network.
Together, we explored:
The hate crime reporting process
Challenges and barriers faced by organisations and communities
Ideas for improvement and collaboration
How we can strengthen our collective voice
We also reflected on the very real impact of hate crimes on victims, their families, and the wider community. These discussions highlighted the vital role that Third-Party Reporting Centres play—providing safe, trusted spaces where people can report incidents, access support, and be met with understanding, compassion, and an inclusive approach.
The conversations were meaningful, open, and honest, and we are hopeful that by continuing to meet regularly, we can keep building momentum and positive change together.
Thank you once again to all the Third-Party Reporting Centres who attended, and to our speakers for their valuable contributions and insights.

🌍 Let’s Talk About Hate Crime – Know It, Report It, Stop It

Hate crime has no place in our communities. Raising awareness is the first step towards change, support, and safety for everyone.
🔎 What is a Hate Crime?
A hate crime is any criminal offence that is perceived by the victim or any other person to be motivated by hostility or prejudice based on:
Race or perceived race
Religion or perceived religion
Sexual orientation or perceived sexual orientation
Disability or perceived disability
Transgender identity or perceived transgender identity

💬 What is a Hate Incident?
A hate incident may not always be a crime, but it is still harmful. It is any incident that feels motivated by prejudice or hostility towards who you are.
👉 Your experience matters – whether it’s a crime or an incident, it should be taken seriously.

📞 How to Report a Hate Crime
Call 101 (non-emergency)
