We’re continuing to grow at Arch Fire Systems, and I’m looking to add a Business Development Manager (Fire & Security – Install & Maintenance) to the business.

This role is about supporting the next stage of our journey – helping us grow fire and security installation projects alongside long-term maintenance and compliance contracts, while maintaining the standards, relationships and customer experience we’re known for.

Another fast turnaround for the Arch Fire Systems!

We were called in to design, install, and commission a wireless fire alarm system - all within 48 hours. That included a early morning drive to Dartford to collect equipment from Kentec Electronics, overnight programming, and full installation completed on-site in just 8 hours the next day.

We used Kentec’s K-Mesh wireless infrastructure to deliver BS5839-1 L2 coverage. The setup included a Kentec Syncro panel, supported by one K-Mesh Translator, five K-Mesh Expanders and over 90 wireless devices. With all detectors placed in strategic positions to complement the building’s layout and aesthetics - especially important in a property with such character.

The building, originally constructed in 1906, has recently undergone a fantastic refurbishment by Keith Elliott Construction Ltd - KEC including a brand-new kitchen/dining space and tasteful modern touches throughout.

Great to play our part in protecting a building with so much history - now future-proofed with modern fire safety.

Key Responsibilities:

What’s the best site you’ve worked on this year?

For us at Arch Fire Systems, it has to be St. Andrew's Church in Plymouth, where we had the privilege of installing a wireless fire alarm system using Advanced and EMS fire alarm equipment 🚨

This project was both challenging and rewarding as we balanced the preservation of a beautiful, historic building with the implementation of wireless fire alarm equipment. Our wireless fire alarm provided the perfect solution, delivering reliable protection without compromising the church’s stunning architecture ⛪️

Being entrusted with safeguarding such a significant landmark in our city of Plymouth has been a true honour for our team - a full case study to follow shortly!
