Plympton Community Council

Plympton Community Council Plympton Community Council brings together the voluntary, charity, social, and recreational organisations in our community.

Our Stannator this year is Cathy Loft and our Youth Ambassador is Grace Nicholls. Plympton Community Council is a forum for all the community, voluntary and charitable bodies that meet in Plympton. First formed in 1977, the Council comprises representatives appointed by each constituent body. Ward councillors, elected members of Plymouth City Council, are also invited to attend. The Council meets

6 times a year to discuss matters of mutual interest and to promote events and other activities in the Plympton area. Since 1980 the Council has elected annually a "Stannator" to act as the civic and ceremonial focus for the community.

📢 STALLHOLDERS WANTED – PLYMPTON CAREERS FAIR 2027 📢

Following the incredible success of this year’s event, Plympton Community Council is delighted to announce that our Careers Fair will be return to Harewood House on Saturday, 23 January 2027 – and we’re aiming to make it bigger and better than ever!

We’re looking for local businesses, organisations, charities, education providers and training providers to exhibit and inspire people of all ages as they explore future career opportunities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to:
✅ Showcase your organisation
✅ Promote careers, apprenticeships and training opportunities
✅ Connect with potential future employees and volunteers
✅ Raise your profile within the local community
