Plympton Community Council

Plympton Community Council Plympton Community Council brings together the voluntary, charity, social, and recreational organisations in our community.

Our Stannator this year is Cathy Loft and our Youth Ambassador is Grace Nicholls. Plympton Community Council is a forum for all the community, voluntary and charitable bodies that meet in Plympton. First formed in 1977, the Council comprises representatives appointed by each constituent body. Ward councillors, elected members of Plymouth City Council, are also invited to attend. The Council meets

6 times a year to discuss matters of mutual interest and to promote events and other activities in the Plympton area. Since 1980 the Council has elected annually a "Stannator" to act as the civic and ceremonial focus for the community.

Our Youth Ambassador, Easter, met with the new Lord Mayor of Plymouth, Councillor Kevin Sprotson, and the Lady Mayoress.

We also have photos at the reception room of Easter with David Frost (our chairman), Theresa Frost and Erika (Easter’s mum).

What a fantastic day at the May Fair event! We were delighted to welcome Plympton Stannator Lloyd Hills and Youth Ambassador Easter Garrett onto our courts on Saturday, where they soaked up the sunshine and enjoyed an exciting afternoon of tennis. The courts were full of energy, smiles, and great rallies, making it a truly memorable occasion for everyone involved.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success — from the organisers and volunteers to all the players and supporters who came along to enjoy the day.
