OYEZ. Apologies this week for not sharing my proclamation video. It seems that the appearance of Buzz & Woody was a great success. Don't forget Friarwood Festival tomorrow.
I did take a selfie video Wed. morning but it was of such a poor standard & I don't want to inflict it on anyone. Normal service next week 🎦

Yorkshire Weekend at Pontefract & District Golf Club

This weekend we're celebrating all things Yorkshire!

Saturday 1st August is Yorkshire Day, and the celebrations continue on Sunday 2nd August with our Yorkshire Mixed Open.

To add to the fun, all players are invited to wear a Flat Cap, we'd love to see everyone getting into the Yorkshire spirit!

After going to Goole on Yorkshire Day. I have been invited to make an appearance at Pontefract & District Golf Club. I will not be playing but I will be wearing my royal blue plus-fours. OYEZ

I big thank you to The Yorkshire Society for inviting me to this Civic Celebration. My deputy Sean Gaffney will be my 'plus 1'. We are both looking forward to attending and of course we will be wearing our Town Crier uniforms and representing Pontefract Civic Society
