Spent a really enjoyable couple of hours at Trevethin and Penygarn Community Centre on Friday... I absolutely LOVE these ladies and everything they do for our community and I'm gonna go ahead and call them our...Community Heroes because that's EXACTLY who they are....❤️ Xx

I want to say a massive thank you to Denise, Jody, Lisa, Kelly, Andrew and the residents who very kindly gave permission for me to chat with them over a cuppa on Friday about the Over 50's Hub and how it is hoped that this weekly event will help the residents of Trevethin and Penygarn... Please take a few minutes to watch..and...

PLEASE ... PLEASE... if you're over 50 and would like to enjoy a hot meal in a safe, clean and extremely welcoming environment... do come along to the Trevethin and Penygarn Community Centre on Fridays at lunch time....❤️ ###

I would love to shoot more of these Trevethin and Penygarn Spotlight videos as I want the amazing residents who give up their time and effort for our community to be able to promote their groups and facilities in their own words and to get the message out so residents can take advantage of all the amazing groups and events on offer in our community. So please get in touch if you have a community group or event based in Trevethin or Penygarn that you'd like me to cover! ❤️ ###

Absolutely delighted to be able to donate £500 to the After The Bell Club from the portion of the Pontypool Community Council Voluntary Funding allocated to me.

The brilliant volunteers here continue to provide a safe and welcoming space for children and their families in this increasingly difficult period with the cost of living still climbing.

Our community is so lucky to have this resource and the wonderful volunteers who give up their time and effort in dedication to their neighbours.

Thank you all so much! ❤️ Xx

Please come and join our community for the Grand Reopening of the Trevethin and Penygarn Community Centre on Saturday 18th July 2026. The event stars at 12pm and will run until 4pm.

There will also be an opportunity to meet and vote for the Communtites Choice finalists.

This will be a fun family event and all are welcome. Please come and be a part of your community.... the more people who get involved and have their say the better. ❤️ Xx

Absolutely delighted to be able to donate £1010 to the Trevethin and Penygarn Community Center out of the portion of the Pontypool Community Council Voluntary Funding allocated to me.

The money will be used to create a private space within the facility where Trevethin residents can access advice/therapy/counselling in a welcoming...safe...non-judgemental environment.

The health... prosperity and wellbeing of people in our community is my top priority as a community councillor and I'd like to thank Denise and the other trustees at the Trevethin and Penygarn Community Center for all their hard work and dedication in pushing forward the necessary renovations to this building.

Without these amazing volunteers...these vital community services would simply not exist... I cannot thank you all enough for the hours of unpaid work you put in to making our community a better place.

❤️ Xx
