The push towards sustainability is no longer just for large corporations. Increasingly, small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) are being asked by customers, suppliers and regulators to demonstrate how they are reducing their environmental impact and building responsible, future-focused businesses.

That is where Bournemouth University's Centre for Sustainable Business Transformations (CSBT) can help.

Over the coming weeks, the Centre will run a series of short afternoon drop-in events aimed specifically at small business owners and managers who want to learn more about sustainable business practices as we move towards 2030. The sessions will take place from 4pm to 5.30pm (with additional time for optional networking).

Dorset Chamber Platinum Business Partner, Coastland College, is inviting all to explore the creativity, innovation and technical skill of its art students in their end-of-year exhibition ‘Chromatic Collective’.

Taking place from June 16th to 18th at the College’s Weymouth campus, the exhibition will showcase final projects from students studying across a range of creative disciplines, providing a professional platform for emerging artists, designers and makers to present their work to the public.

The exhibition will feature a broad range of work from students across all the College’s creative arts courses – from A Level and Level 2 full time courses in art and photography, to Foundation Degree.

Dorset Chamber has announced a new partnership with Hinton Workspace, strengthening its commitment to supporting businesses in rural parts of the county.

Hinton Workspace, at Hinton St Mary, near Sturminster Newton, will provide a valuable base for Dorset Chamber activity in the north of the county, helping to connect, support and champion rural businesses.

The partnership will focus on collaboration, business engagement and events, creating new opportunities for local businesses to access support, build connections and share their views on the issues affecting them.
