Unique Family Celebrant

Hi I am Kathryn, a Family Celebrant, and I just love officiating heart-led, personalised and memorable ceremonies. My mission is to create the very best of ceremonies for the families I work with. I am passionate, bubbly, creative, confident and bursting with life experiences and determination. I love weaving in my passion for the theatre, foreign travel and nature into my ceremonies.

I have had an eclectic career starting at Pontins as a Bluecoat, followed by 15 happy years travelling the world, entertaining families and holiday makers. Subsequently followed by a husband and two gorgeous children now 24 & 29 years old. I am currently writing a wedding ceremony for my daughters wedding in Mexico 2019.

When I was 40 I decided to take my personal development into my own hands and after being a terrible student in School I undertook a 5 year Business Management Degree culminating in a 2:1 Full Honours Degree; an accomplishment I am hugely proud of! After a career in retail, estate agency and conservation I felt it was time to do something that I REALLY wanted to do.

So here I am today, a fully trained celebrant ready to officiate beautiful, memorable ceremonies from weddings, to funerals, baby namings to vow renewals and a myriad of other blessings or memorials. I am also available as a Toast Master, Compere and officiant at a variety of ceremonies, occasions or events.
