We are a friendly group of volunteers who are passionate about Margam Park Supporting the maintenance and restoration of Margam Park for everyone to enjoy.

If you love and value Margam and want to keep it open, safe and welcoming for everyone, then please lend us your support by joining us

By joining the 'Friends' You will be:

Helping us to raise much-needed funds. Building the knowledge of the heritage and history of important buildings and landmarks. Promoting the aims and objectives of the Park. Helping us protect the history, wildlife, flora an

d fauna at the Park. A part of one of the most dynamic volunteer groups in South Wales. You will also:

Receive regular updates and newsletters. Be invited to events, talks and trips to other gardens, historic estates and places of interest.

Easter school holidays are here 🤩so time to announce that tickets for our next junior photography walk will go on sale 9 am tomorrow morning (Saturday 28th March )

A longer walk this time approx 1.77 miles, starting at the castle, on the main path looping around the farm trail around Twyn yr Hydd, then over towards Go Ape and back to the castle.

📍 meet at the castle courtyard for signing in.

Join the Friends of Margam Park Photography walk for a relaxed walk around the beautiful Orangery Gardens. We’ll follow a shorter, easy route — perfect for slowing down, noticing the details, and capturing the first whispers of spring. 🌿

Keep your eyes ready for delicate snowdrops, vibrant crocuses, and those cheerful pops of daffodils.

It’s the perfect opportunity to practice finding light, working with colour, and photographing the subtle signs of spring.

Rain or no rain, nothing was gonna stop us for our first junior photography walk. 🙌📷❤️

Thank you to everyone who supported this event, we had a wonderful time and we hope you did too!
