🎓🌍 Fim do Ano Letivo 2025/2026 | Viagem ao Planetário de Armagh 🚀✨

Terminámos mais um ano letivo da melhor forma: com uma visita inesquecível ao Planetário de Armagh e a cerimónia de entrega dos certificados aos nossos alunos.

Foi um dia repleto de descoberta, aprendizagem, diversão e muitas memórias especiais. A visita ao planetário despertou a curiosidade pelo universo e proporcionou uma experiência educativa única, enquanto a entrega dos certificados reconheceu o empenho, a dedicação e o progresso de cada aluno ao longo do ano.

Agradecemos, de coração, aos nossos alunos, pais e encarregados de educação pela confiança e apoio. Um agradecimento muito especial aos nossos professores e voluntários, cuja dedicação torna este projeto possível.

Parabéns a todos os nossos alunos! Desejamos a todas as famílias umas excelentes férias de verão. Esperamos por todos em setembro para mais um ano de aprendizagem, amizade e muitas conquistas.

We celebrated the end of another successful school year with an unforgettable trip to the Armagh Planetarium and our students' certificate presentation ceremony.

It was a day full of discovery, learning, fun and wonderful memories. Our visit to the planetarium inspired curiosity about the universe, while the presentation of certificates recognised each student's hard work, dedication and progress throughout the year.

We would like to thank all our students, parents and families for their continued trust and support. A very special thank you goes to our teachers and volunteers, whose commitment and dedication make this project possible.

Congratulations to all our students! We wish all our families a wonderful summer holiday filled with happiness, rest and special moments.

We look forward to welcoming you all back in September for another exciting year of learning and new adventures.

🇵🇹 10 de Junho – Dia de Portugal, de Camões e das Comunidades Portuguesas

A Escolinha de Língua Portuguesa celebrou o 10 de Junho com uma atividade especial que reuniu alunos, famílias e professores de Portadown e Belfast.

Ao longo da celebração, as crianças e os jovens tiveram a oportunidade de aprender um pouco mais sobre a história, a cultura e as tradições de Portugal, participando ativamente em diversas atividades educativas. Um dos momentos mais apreciados foi a criação dos seus próprios azulejos, inspirados numa das mais belas expressões da arte portuguesa.

Os pais também participaram nas atividades, tornando este momento ainda mais especial e reforçando a ligação entre a escola, as famílias e a comunidade.

A comemoração terminou de forma muito saborosa, com a partilha de deliciosas iguarias portuguesas, proporcionando a todos um verdadeiro momento de convívio e celebração das nossas raízes.

Foi um dia repleto de aprendizagem, criatividade, partilha, orgulho e espírito de comunidade, unindo as comunidades portuguesas de Portadown e Belfast.

🇬🇧 10 June – Portugal Day, Camões Day and Portuguese Communities Day

The Portuguese Language School celebrated Portugal Day with a special event that brought together students, families and teachers from Portadown and Belfast.

Throughout the celebration, the children and young people had the opportunity to learn more about the history, culture and traditions of Portugal while taking part in a variety of educational activities. One of the highlights was creating their own Portuguese-style tiles (azulejos), inspired by one of Portugal’s most beautiful artistic traditions.

Parents also took part in the activities, making the event even more special and strengthening the connection between the school, families and the wider community.

The celebration ended with a selection of delicious Portuguese treats, providing everyone with a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate our heritage.

It was a day full of learning, creativity, sharing, pride and community spirit, bringing together the Portuguese communities of Portadown and Belfast.
