Last night we focused on Leadership - our more senior cadets took a step back as many of our junior cadets took the opportunity to be a leader.

The night started with an introduction to leadership principles, group roles and the SMEAC briefing format.

Then the cadets got to have a go leading small teams to complete a variety of challenges and tasks.

It was a very enjoyable night with some very confident future leaders successfully leading their groups.

Well done to all of the Northern Ireland Wing Royal Air Force Air Cadets members who completed the 2026 Nijmegen 4 March.

We are especially delighted that one of our own cadets, Sgt Jack Hunter, completed the march!

For those who don't know, the Nijmegen march is a 100 mile march in the Netherlands. It takes a huge amount of training, dedication and effort to complete!
