3. Bring to the attention of the relevant bodies issues of environmental concern
4. Plan for the future development of the community
5. Ensure road safety standards are adhered to
6. Accommodate the provision and maintenance of:
Trane Cemetery, bus shetlers, seating, handrails on footpaths and steps, additional lighting, local toil

ets, allotments, flower baskets
7. Liaise with other bodies: Police, Welsh Water, Energy suppliers, bus companies, health authority, education authority
8. Financial grants for local voluntary organisations
9. Senior citizens Christmas dinner

Tonyrefail & District Community Council were so happy to host our first Seniors Summer Afternoon Tea on 31st July!

The event was a great success and guests had a lovely afternoon of good company, afternoon tea and refreshments and of course musical entertainment!

Special thanks to Tonyrefail Community School for the use of the old school hall that was well remembered by so many of our guests as former pupils!
