🎨🌿 Last week, our young people headed to the amazing Art in the Garden event at Little Forest Land Art — a two-week exhibition showcasing the incredible work of local artists! 🖼️✨

A special shoutout to Mark from Team NXT, who had some of his own artwork featured in the exhibition too! 🙌🎉

Even though the rain tried to dampen the day 🌧️, it didn’t stop the fun! Our young people enjoyed exploring the artwork and sculptures, getting inspired by the creativity around them, and even putting their own photography skills to the test 📸💚.

🦆💛 Meet the newest member of the NXT family! 💛🦆

This little duckling has had quite the journey already. After being found abandoned in a chicken coop, he was taken in by the amazing team at Brune Park. When they realised they couldn't fully meet his needs, they reached out to us—and of course we couldn't say no! 🥹

Since arriving at NXT, he's been settling in brilliantly and has already become a firm favourite with both staff and young people. Safe, happy, and surrounded by lots of love, this little guy is definitely making himself at home. 🏡✨

🌟 May Round-Up! 🌟

What a month it's been! Our young people have had a jam-packed May, getting involved in a wide range of exciting sessions including catering, beauty, arts & crafts, photography, workshops, and so much more. 🎨📸🍴✨

It's been fantastic to see everyone learning new skills, building confidence, making friends, and creating plenty of memories along the way.

We can't wait for the summer term to begin and bring even more fun, opportunities, and unforgettable moments! ☀️💛 Here's to another amazing term ahead! 🙌

⚔️ Dungeons & Dragons has taken over NXT! 🐉✨

This week, some of our young people stepped into a world of epic adventures, daring quests, and plenty of laughter!

Although D&D isn’t one of our usual sessions, it’s been amazing to see everyone so engaged — teaming up, joking together, and letting their imaginations run wild. 💫

From rolling dice to battling dragons, the room has been full of smiles, creativity, and teamwork… and we’ve absolutely loved every minute of it! 🛡️🔥

After becoming part of the NXT family, it was time to say goodbye as they headed off with Matt & Katie to their brand new outdoor home 🏡🌿

Watching them grow bigger every day has been so much fun, and both staff and young people absolutely loved having them around 💛 They’ve now outgrown their brood box and are LOVING life outdoors! Of course under the watchful eye of Malin Pup! ☀️🐓

We’re going to miss our fluffy little friends… but we cannot wait to do this experience again! 🐣💫

Our young people have been absolutely making the most of the sunshine lately — and it’s been amazing to see! 😄From football matches ⚽, basketball games 🏀, epic rounds of hot potato 🥔🔥, to chilled outdoor walks 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ — everyone’s been active, engaged, and fully enjoying being outside together.

Loads of laughs, loads of energy, and loads of teamwork 💪✨This is what it’s all about — fresh air, movement, and good company. And honestly… they’re loving it! ☀️💛

The Beauty project is officially in full swing and we are LOVING it!! Our first young person has just completed their FULL look — hair, makeup, nails AND outfit on point 💅💄👗🔥

This project is all about YOU taking the lead, getting creative, and showing off your own style your own way. And honestly… the results are already ICONIC 😍

What a month it’s been! April was packed with fun, laughter, creativity and plenty of engaging sessions 🙌

Our young people got stuck into a huge range of activities including:

💄 Beauty sessions
🎨 Arts & crafts
📸 Photography projects

It’s been amazing seeing everyone get involved, trying new things and making great memories along the way 💫 We can’t wait to see what this month has in store!
