The Time Machine
HG Wells is the founding father of science fiction and this free one-day workshop is to celebrate his 150th anniversary. You'll create your own time machine and time travelling adventure story with the help of experts from the University of Portsmouth and a professional story teller. This workshop is run by 'UP for Uni', the University of Portsmouth's secondary school outreach team. It will take place at Portsmouth Museum, which was built in the same decade as the Time Machine was published and is just up the road from where HG Wells once worked.
