📱👶 Screens are everywhere… but what’s right for your child?

💻From phones and tablets to TVs, screens are a big part of everyday life. But have you ever stopped to think about how much screen time is appropriate for young children?

Here’s a quick guide:

👶 Under 2 years
Screen time isn’t recommended (except for shared, interactive moments with family that encourage bonding and conversation).

🧒 Ages 2–5 years
Try to keep it to no more than 1 hour a day, less if possible. Around 90% of brain development happens before age five, and children learn best through real-life interaction with parents and carers.

💡 Want to know more?
Our information page answers important questions like:

❓How does screen time affect my child’s development?
❓How does my screen use impact my child?
❓What types of content and activities are better?
