The adjustment 2 headcount will be available on the provider portal from Monday 13 July 2026.

Please ensure you complete and send the adjustment 2 headcount task when it becomes available if you have any changes to children accessing funded hours after submitting the adjustment 1 task.

The final deadline for submission of adjustment 2 is Friday 24 July 2026.

If there are any further changes to your funding claims after this date (for example, new children due to start funded hours or children leaving your setting), please contact the Early Years Funding Team at [email protected].

📢 Please share with families: Early Years Parent/Carers Hub

We'd like to highlight an upcoming Early Years Parent/Carers Hub session taking place on Thursday 9 July, 9.30am–11.00am at Havelock Community Centre.

This session will focus on creating 'Now & Next' boards for families to take home and use as a practical visual support tool.
The session is open to parents and carers of children attending an early years setting in Portsmouth who are looking for additional support. Representatives from the Neurodiversity Team will also be on hand to answer questions and provide advice.

Join our face-to-face workshop delivered by Early Years Quality and Sufficiency Officers, and take a deeper dive into the fascinating world of 2 year olds!
This session is designed to help you better understand how toddlers grow and develop – and how you can support them every step of the way.

✨ By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
• Understand the key developmental needs of 2 year olds, including early language
• Confidently scaffold learning and support children’s development
• Review your environment, resources and routines to meet the needs of your 2 year olds
• Know when to seek help and where to go for support if you have concerns

Are you confident in managing allegations and safeguarding in your setting? Join our FREE Early Years Advanced LADO Training for a deeper dive into all things LADO.

This interactive session will explore:
✔️ LADO thresholds and oversight
✔️ Internal investigations and risk assessment
✔️ Building a strong safeguarding culture
✔️ Managing low-level concerns
✔️ Learning from serious case reviews
✔️ Reporting to Ofsted

💡 By the end of the session, you will:
✅ Understand the managing allegations process and the LADO role
