Important Attendance Reporting Update 📈

As we look forward to welcoming our Year 7 and Year 11 students back on Thursday 3rd, and Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 students back next Monday 7th, we'd like to share an important update to our absence reporting procedure.

📢 All student absences must now be reported via Arbor, either through the Arbor App or Parent Portal.

Regular school attendance is vital for academic success, wellbeing, and helping students make the most of every learning opportunity. We encourage all students to attend school every day unless they are genuinely unwell or unable to attend.

🎉 Year 11 Students at Castle View Academy Celebrate GCSE Success! 🎉

Today, our Year 11 students are celebrating as they receive their GCSE results.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, determination and resilience shown by the Class of 2026, and we congratulate them on everything they have achieved.

🎓 Class of 2026 – Results Day Reminder

📅 Results Day: Thursday 20 August 2026
📍 Atrium
⏰ 8:30am – 10:00am

Thursday is Results Day, and as we prepare to welcome back our Class of 2026, we want to take a moment to celebrate everything they have achieved.

Our Year 11 students have shown exceptional commitment, resilience, determination and ambition throughout their time at Castle View Academy. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and the way they embraced every opportunity to learn and grow. They are a true credit to their families and our school community.

Students and their families are welcome to arrive at any time during this period to collect their results. Staff will be available to offer guidance on next steps, including college courses, apprenticeships, employment opportunities and exam re-mark enquiries.

If a student is unable to attend, their results will be posted the following day. Arrangements can also be made for someone else to collect results on their behalf by contacting our Exams Officer, Natalie Callaway, at [email protected].

We wish all of our students the very best of luck and look forward to celebrating their successes. Whatever your next step, we know the future is bright.

🎤 A Fantastic End to the Year!

Our final Open Mic of the year took place yesterday, and what a way to end the term!
Students showed incredible determination, ambition and confidence as they performed, with huge cheers and encouragement from the audience throughout.

The Open Mic has become a highlight of the end of term for many, with the atrium coming alive through creativity, talent and an overwhelming sense of support.

A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped make the event so special.
