We are very sad to announce the death of WoodberryDown member, Richard Taylor, who died on December 14th. Richard had been a stalwart member of the branch, continuing to hand out leaflets along his street even when he struggled to walk. Richard will be much missed by branch members. Our sympathies go out to his wife, Amanda and his daughters, Louise & Helena & grandchildren Christian, Rhys & Eve.
His funeral is to be held on Tuesday 10 January, at 11.30, St Ignatius church, Stamford Hill. He will be buried at 1.30 at the City of London Cemetary, Wanstead. All are welcome.

Help keep our trees alive. If you live close to a new tree please adopt it & save your washing up water for it. Pour the water into the pipe planted with it so it goes to the roots. If you see a tree in trouble email: [email protected]

On behalf of the ward, our branch has submitted an initial document as a response to the Phase 4 Regeneration Consultation. Our response is a first step in our involvement in the consultation process.

Woodberry Down Labour will have a stall near Sainsburys today. Come along and sign the petition to stop the bus cuts. Stamford Hill is to be badly hit. The 254 will stop at Finsbury Park the 279 will no longer come to Manor House Station and the 476 will stop short at Newington Green.
