Mayor of Prescot Charity Donations 2025-26

The outgoing Mayor of Prescot - Cllr Graham Wickens raised a total of £3,664 during his civic year of fundraising. He was pleased to present a donation of £458 to each of the following:-

Dogs Trust Merseyside (Dogs Trust)

Friends of Prescot Cemetery & Churchyard

We recently held our Community Recognition Awards afternoon were we celebrated all the amazing community groups and volunteers within Prescot. Prescot Town Councillors and staff were delighted to serve afternoon tea and drinks for all our special guests. The winners of this years community recognition awards for 2026 are as follows:

Spectrum Connect CIO - Prescot Community Group of the Year
Leslie Jordan (Knowsley Knerds) - Prescot Citizen of the Year

Prescot Town Council is delighted to announce that at a meeting of Annual Council last night, Cllr Paul Goodwin was unanimously elected to hold the office of Mayor of Prescot for the 2026/27 Civic Year.

Prescot Town Council is also pleased to announce that at last night's Annual Council Meeting, Cllr Pat Cook was unanimously elected to serve as Deputy Mayor of Prescot for the 2026/27 Civic Year.
