🥔✅️ FOOD BANK PRODUCTION BEGINS! 🙌

There has been lots of development since the last update regarding Caritas Crops - the Allotment Team established by NDP members in Preston to grow fresh food for local food banks, that aims to live out Distributism in action.

Activists have built several beds using timber provided at a discounted price by a local timber company. With the funds raised by generous supporters and the kindness of the local business, the team has been able to fill a bed with 15 bags of soil and Christmas seed potatoes.

The team should have a decent harvest for the food bank in the coming months.

This is just the beginning, and there is much more to come.

If you want to live our distributism in action, simple comment down below or send us a message and we will provide you with all of the support and information you need to do similar in the area that you live.

✝️ ST. AIDAN'S DAY 🙌

Today, we celebrate St Aidan of Lindisfarne; a missionary, monk, and one of the great builders of Christian England.

St Aidan understood that a strong nation is built not merely through power or wealth but through faith, family, community, and service. From Lindisfarne, he helped restore Christian civilisation in the North.

His legacy reminds us that renewal begins locally: in our homes, our parishes, and our communities.

St Aidan, pray for Britain.

✝️ ST. MARGARET CLITHEROW 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Today, we honour and venerate St Margaret Clitherow; a wife, mother, and martyr who gave everything rather than betray Christ and His Church.

In an age that asks us to compromise, to stay silent, and to place comfort above truth, her life speaks to us with renewed urgency. She showed that faith is not merely something we profess, but something we must be willing to sacrifice for.

St Margaret gave her life for faith in the land of her birth. She reminds us that England's Christian inheritance was purchased and defended through the courage and sacrifice of countless faithful men and women.

We must look to her example. We must be prepared to sacrifice comfort for truth, popularity for principle, and worldly security for Christ.

To love our nation rightly is not to worship it, but to desire that it be faithful to God, rooted in truth, and worthy of the inheritance entrusted to us.

May England remember her saints.

🤰PRO-LIFE FOR LIFE ✝️♥️

To be truly pro-life means to defend the dignity of every human person from the womb to the tomb. No exceptions. But a Christian commitment to life can not end at birth. Our nation must protect and support the vulnerable throughout every stage of life.

Protection for mothers. Support for families. Dignity for the disabled. Care for the elderly. Strong communities where no one is abandoned.

We can not simply pick and choose whose lives matter. We are all bound together by a duty to love, serve, and care for one another for the betterment of our people and our nations.

A truly Christian and Distributist nation must build strong families, strong local communities, and a society where people take responsibility for one another.

On September 5th, NDP members will be attending the March for Life in London. We would love for fellow supporters to stand alongside us and make our voice heard.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 OUR NATION. OUR LANGUAGE. OUR FLAG. 🗣

Public signs should reflect the country and the people they serve. In England, that means English.

Across the United Kingdom, our native languages should be protected, respected, and given pride of place. A shared public language is part of a shared national identity. It binds people together and helps preserve the character of the lands we call home.

The same principle applies to our public institutions. Government buildings and town halls should represent Britain, and the nations of the United Kingdom - not become platforms for endless foreign national celebrations.

For too long, successive governments have pursued mass immigration without regard for housing, public services, social cohesion, or national identity. The result has been growing pressure on communities and a weakening sense of shared belonging.

England should remain recognisably English.

Preserve our identity. Protect our heritage. Defend our national character. Join the NDP today. Become a member for only £10 a year.

🙌🐮 SELF SUFFICIENCY IS KING 👑

A truly free nation must be capable of standing on its own feet.

That means more than simply feeding ourselves. It means producing our own food, making our own goods, maintaining our own industries, protecting our own farmland, and controlling the essentials of our national life.

Power should not be concentrated in distant corporations, global financial institutions, or international bureaucracies beyond the democratic control of our people. The stronger our dependence upon them, the weaker our national sovereignty becomes.

The National Distributist vision is one of subsidiarity, self-sufficiency, and national resilience - strong families, strong communities, strong local economies, and, ultimately, a strong nation.

📜 HISTORY OF THE HOUND 🐕

The Hound is a Distributist symbol that can be found across many works. From 20th century guilds to the NDP, The Hound of Distributism published in 2015 to the American 'The Hound' distributist media outlet on Substack.

Its origin lies with the Dominican Order, which was established in 1216 by Saint Dominic to renew the Church through education and preaching. The word Dominicanus (Latin for Dominicans) led to the medieval Latin pun Domini Canes, translating to Hound(s) of the Lord. It is said that during a pilgrimage, Saint Dominic’s mother had a dream where a dog leapt from her womb carrying a lit torch in its mouth.

In 1921, the Guild of Saint Joseph & Dominic in Sussex, England, used the hound with torch as its emblem, having been inspired by Catholic Social Teaching and Distributism. It was here where the hound with a torch became more closely associated with Distributism.

Since then, it has remained one of the lasting symbols of the Distributist movement and is why the NDP chose to bear 'The Hound' in our logo.

May we continue to carry the torch of Distributism- continuing the legacy of great Distributist thinkers of past.

🏦 USURY = EXPLOITATION 🛑

Usury is not merely an economic problem. It is a threat to the family, the nation, and the common good.
A people buried in debt can not be truly economically free. When families, farmers, and small businesses are forced to surrender their income to interest, wealth and power become concentrated in the hands of finance rather than distributed among productive households.

This is contrary to our Distributist thought, which seeks widespread property ownership and an economy rooted in families, small businesses, farms, and local communities.

It is also contrary to the Christian and Catholic teaching, which has long condemned exploitative lending and insists that economic life must serve justice and the common good.

Money must serve man, not man serve money. We are against the exploitation of our families and people by financiers and their own interests over the public good and wellbeing.

Stand with us against usury, become a member of the NDP for only £10 a year today.

🟡🐕 THE DISTRIBUTIST LIFE 🌄

The current nationalist discourse - on our effort to culturally and politically revolutionise Britain as a 'struggle', or a 'war' - places all the emphasis on the physical and the public, and nothing on the spiritual; mental; or private. The result is a body of patriotic nationalists who are unfortunately completely powerless when the crisis at hand demands more than fists and fury - but organisation, discipline, and patience.

In guarding your nation, its people, and your family - which forms the smallest but most critical part of it - the nationalist has a duty. Not only to improve his body, and to become physically fit, capable of defending what they own; but to become mentally fit, spiritually sound, capable of refuting and dismantling the bars of rusted internationalist iron that imprison them, and of undertaking the labour and industry yourself that great corporations have tried to monopolise under their own power for despicable and egregious financial gain.

The arguments levelled against us for desiring a homeland; a just economic system; and real representation - not by foreign oligarchs and financiers, but by our own native Britons - are nonsensical, but through lack of refutation they dominate the media and the education systems, and raise successive generations of brainwashed and effete children, who are doomed to slavery by that upbringing.

Thus, the NDP's call is to strengthen yourself: educate yourself: discipline yourself! Triumph in every small way, day-by-day, and do not avoid or scorn leisure or entertainment; only consume the entertainment, and partake in leisure, which leaves you fresh and primed to strike a decisive blow back at the system.

A great country is built of great individuals. Become a great individual.

LOVE YOUR NATION ♥️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We are told by the mainstream politicians, media, and elite that it is immoral, racist, and hateful for anyone in The West to love their nation - their heritage, culture, and identity.

It is not wrong. It is beautiful to see people from across the world celebrate their nations - the heritage, culture, and identity that makes them unique. This is no different for ourselves.

The innovation. The pioneering. The civilisation. Our nation has much to celebrate, and it is important to do so; to strengthen our connection to our land, our relationship with the ancestors who came before us, and to prepare it for our children who will come after.

We must stop the rot that our governments and elite have established. We must celebrate who we are in every form - to preserve our heritage sites, to fund cultural community events, and to protect our traditions.

Join the revival of our nation - join the NDP today.
