Congratulations to our Firefighter Greg Dunnings, who has officially been recognised by Guinness World Records for setting a new world record for the farthest distance pulling a vehicle in 24 hours.
Greg completed the challenge in 2025, surpassing the previous record of 32 miles in just 14 hours, before going on to achieve an incredible 41.45 miles over 24 hours. The achievement has now been officially confirmed, with Greg receiving his Guinness World Records certificate last week.
The challenge supported three charities:
• Fire Fighters Charity
• SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity
• Coldstream Guards Corps of Drums
Thanks to generous support and private donations, Greg has raised an impressive £11,000 in total. Of this, £1,500 has gone to Fire Fighters Charity, and Greg is hoping to increase this further.
