Commenting on the achievement, Helene Delaney, Hospital Director, said:

"We are incredibly proud to have received a GOOD rating from the CQC. This recognition reflects the dedication, professionalism and compassion demonstrated by our teams every day. Whether providing outstanding patient care or ensuring the very best experience for those who use our services, our staff, consultants and support teams consistently go above and beyond.

I would like to thank all of our colleagues for their commitment and hard work, as well as our patients for the trust they place in us. This is a significant achievement for the hospital, and one that we should all be proud of. We remain committed to delivering safe, effective and patient-centred care for our local community."

We had a fantastic day exhibiting at the Brockholes Auction alongside their busy dairy sale!

It was a real pleasure speaking with so many local farmers, people who don’t always get the time or opportunity to prioritise their own health and wellbeing.
