🎾We're pleased to share a great opportunity through the Fred Perry Tennis Trust community programme.

On offer is 10 weeks of completely free tennis sessions (3 sessions per week) for Key Stage 1 & 2 children.

🎾 Who is this for?

These sessions are aimed at children who have never played tennis before or haven't had access to coaching, providing a fun and supportive introduction to the sport.

🎾All equipment is provided and sessions are delivered by qualified coaches.

📣More damage to trees in Preston Parks

We're saddened to report that more damage to trees in Haslam Park, Ashton Park, and Moor Park has taken place, more than likely by dogs.

Not only are some of these trees in conservation areas and heritage parks, but enough damage to a tree could even kill it, and therefore the amenity it brings to the space.

If you see any damage to trees taking place, please do not approach but take note of where and when, plus any descriptions and report to [email protected]

🚗Parking Notice

Please note that due to the Tram Bridge opening event taking place on Friday 22 May, the car park at South Meadow Lane (next to The New Continental) will be CLOSED from 7am on Friday and will re-open in the afternoon, once the event has ended.

All vehicles will need to be moved before 7am on Friday.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.
