Want to know what's going on at Ashton Park?

The Friends of Ashton Park group meet regularly to help our team with ongoing work around the park, including fundraising to purchase bulbs and then plant them, like these pollinators at the Victory Beds, named after VE day celebrations.

The next meeting is Saturday 10 October, 10am-12pm where they will be adding further Autumn planting to the new bed by the Ha Ha Wall.

Then on Monday 26 October, the group will be working on the Victory Beds from 10am-12pm then running a free Autumn Nature Trail from 1pm-4pm during half term.

Search and join the 'Friends of Ashton Park PR2' Facebook group to find out more.

Congratulations to the team and friends group at Ashton Park where another Green Flag has been awarded this year.

The international standard for parks and green spaces recognises the hard work, passion and dedication of all those who care for these important green spaces all year round, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard for visitors and residents to enjoy.

A sunny day this week was the perfect time to raise the flag!
