π A Message to Our Wonderful Community β We Need Your Support! π
As many of you may already be aware, the Council is currently carrying out an asset review of buildings, and our much-loved community centre has been included in the first stage of this process.
We, as your Management Committee, alongside our amazing and dedicated centre staff, want to reassure everyone that we remain fully committed to continuing to serve, support and provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for our community and beyond. β€οΈ
π‘ Our community centre is so much more than just a building. Itβs a place where friendships are made, memories are created, people come together and support is always there when itβs needed.
π And now we need YOUR support! π
If our centre has ever helped you, welcomed you, supported you, or made a difference to you or your family, we would love to hear from you!
π¬ Leave us a comment below sharing what our centre means to you, your family or our community.
π
Come along and show your support at the community events on 10th November. Your presence and your voice really could make a difference!
Whether youβve attended an activity, joined us for an event, made friends here or simply enjoyed being part of our community, your story matters.
β€οΈ Your voice matters. Your support matters. Our community matters. β€οΈ
Together, letβs show just how much our centre means to the people who use it, love it and rely on it.
π Please like, comment and share to help us spread the word! π
Together, we are stronger! πͺπ
East Lothian Council is seeking comment and involvement on the Place Making Project.
Many community buildings are being looked at with the view that the public may be able to play a bigger part in how these buildings are run. This is being done in 2 stages. The first stage currently has The Pennypit Family & Learning Centre - SCIO in the list of buildings being looked at.
There will also be planned engagement by the Council - the Prestonpans one will be on 10th November at 14:00 and at 19:00 at the Pennypit Centre. Anyone wishing to attend should send an email to [email protected]
