🌸❤️ My heart is absolutely bursting with pride today. ❤️🌸

My beautiful 4-year-old granddaughter completely amazed me today when she asked if she could use some of my leftover flowers to make an arrangement for her Mummy.

I can honestly say she had NO help whatsoever. She chose the flowers, arranged them herself and created this beautiful little arrangement completely on her own. 🥹💐

To see her so carefully choosing each flower and taking such pride in what she was making really did melt my heart.

Flowers have become such a huge part of my life, and seeing her developing that same love and creativity at just four years old is incredibly special.

I think Nanny may have a little florist in the making… but more importantly, I’m just so incredibly proud of her. ❤️

After so much planning, the stress of growing the actual flowers for the wedding, the severe heat and the endless hours spent creating all the arrangements, they have finally been safely delivered to the venue! 🌸💐

It’s been a labour of love from start to finish — growing the flowers, worrying about whether everything would bloom in time, cutting and conditioning them, and then spending countless hours turning them into the finished arrangements.

Believe me, growing the flowers has been quite an adventure in itself! As well as trying to contend with the weather, I’ve had to seriously up my game when it comes to fencing after last year’s little disaster, when our athletic goats decided the flower garden looked like an excellent place to go exploring!

Plus the cats, moles, rabbits and all the other little creatures who seem to think anything I plant is there specifically for their enjoyment! 🐇🐈‍⬛🐾

But they’re done, they’re delivered, and I’m absolutely thrilled with how they’ve turned out. ❤️ Now I can finally relax and let the flowers do the talking!

And just to be completely transparent… I have used a photo editor on the portrait photos. I didn’t want to use the original background as there were chairs stacked behind the flowers, so I used AI to tidy up the background.

The flowers themselves are exactly as they were delivered.
