VOTE FOR YOUR LOCAL THURMASTON COUNCILLOR Cllr Brenda Seaton ALONGSIDE MARK LOWE & GINA JACKSON ON THURSDAY MAY 4TH 2023.
If you have chosen to vote by post in the Charnwood local elections on May 4th, the forms will be popping through your letterbox this week.
I am honoured to have represented Thurmaston in Charnwood as your borough councillor and would very much like to continue for another term.
I try to be active in village life. I am a Trustee of Silverdale Communty Centre, a trustee of Thurmaston community library, a parish councillor and a governor of Church Hill Junior School as well as an active member of Thurmaston Action Group.
Thurmaston is my home, my childrenâs home and my grandchildrenâs home and I help organise events within the village like the carnival and the recent Easter egg hunt as well as helping out at the food bank held at St Michealâs and all Angelâs Church.
Many will know me through reading my regular article in the Thurmaston Times where I try to keep the readers informed of what is happening in their village, what is planned and what I have been working towards. Many connect with me when joining me in litter picks, taking my grandchildren to school or just walking the dog.
Because I live in the village I am easily contacted and quick to respond to residents issues and concerns. I may not always agree and may not be able to âfixâ the issue but I will always try my hardest to mitigate the problem.
I wish to continue to serve Thurmaston but to do that I need you to vote for me, Brenda Seaton, either by post or at the polling station on May 4th.
Thank you for reading this.
